PPE Detection

The NxtEye-I PPE detection algorithm can help companies monitor and report compliance failures. This algorithm is designed to detect individuals and their Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and it will trigger an alarm if someone is found to be non-compliant with the safety regulations. This non-compliance typically involves missing components of the PPE, such as helmets, safety glasses, or protective boots. When such violations are detected, the algorithm promptly raises an alarm, allowing supervisors to take immediate corrective action.

Video Analytics Solution in Rubber Gasket Manufacturing

In the cooker industry, rubber gaskets are manufactured using a rubber vulcanizing hydraulic press. Employees place the rubber thread into a dedicated groove, and the machine presses and converts the rubber thread into a gasket. The manual process of placing the rubber thread in the groove is error-prone. Displacement of the rubber thread from the groove can result in defects in the gasket and the loss of materials.

A video analytics-based solution has been implemented to scan the groove after the placement of the rubber thread. It generates an alarm and sends a signal to the device controller to stop the process if the thread is misplaced in the groove. Once the alarm is received, the operator can adjust the position of the rubber and restart the operation.
